We are seeking electrical engineers with fundamental knowledge of wireless communication systems, digital networks, or satellite communication systems to join our communication systems development team. Candidate should have previous experience modeling or designing wireless or satellite systems including both theoretical and hands-on lab experience. Theoretical knowledge should include a strong foundation in digital signal processing, modulation, coding and signal recovery techniques and concepts. Hands-on experience should include use of lab equipment for test and verification of transmitting and receiving devices.

Depending on experience, the candidate will lead or support the design, modeling, and prototyping of one or more areas of a Software Designed Receiver (SDR). Other activities may include:

  • Participate in other Teltrium new technology initiatives including the development of complex software algorithms.
  • Design and analysis of advanced satellite communication links, digital telemetry, signal processing, and encryption technology.
  • Provide communication technology expertise, leadership, and mentorship.
  • Collaborate with engineering and business development staff to pursue new business opportunities for communications technology and systems integration,

 

Qualifications

Education: Master’s Degree

Experience: 5-10 years in a relevant industry or projects

Role / Work Schedule

This is a full-time, on-site position in Greenbelt, MD.
